Precipitations

The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner
Mateusz Chorobski -

Sept 19 2014 8pm

The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner :
at night a stranger (Blackman) will roam the empty streets of Katowice. It is impossible to say where he came from. He is running freely, crossing subsequent cross-streets. There are no viewers placed on his route. Yet, there are listeners. The accidental marathon runner has a transmitter, thanks to which his efforts can be heard on radio waves. Somewhere a loudspeaker is placed. It is the only certain trace of his night activity.

Precipitations explores the theme of the universal malleablity of forms, (un) harnessed, solidified, condensed, in motion and in flux. Explored in kinetic sculptures, synethesized sculptural forms, photographic and performative video actions.

Precipitations, is an investigation of tenuous and changeable states, as is explored by artists Mitya Chrikov, Mateus Chorobski, Paul Darius, Klaas Hubner, David Medalla, Adam Nankervis and Igor Omulecki.
